HOW IT WORKS:
The end of the stick is made of a central spike with a spring around it. The battery, switch, buzzer (inside the base), pin and spring are connected together to form an electrical circuit. The stick acts as an additional switch in the circuit. When you touch the sides of the rail with the stick, the spring bends and touches the pin. This completes the circuit so that the electrical current passes through the buzzer and operates.
