The book: The animals gather in the forest to find a leader. The mouse, the cat, the dog, the wolf, the fox and the lion are running. Each brags about his gifts and thinks he is better than the other for this office. And where everyone is convinced that the lion deserves to be the leader, the huge elephant appears and says that he is invincible, stronger than that! But what happened to such a small creature, the size of your little fingernail, proved that neither the elephant nor any other animal should have a great idea of itself and that each one has its own special abilities?
The Series: In order for children to have healthy social lives based on effective relationships, they need to cultivate empathy, that is, the ability to put themselves in the shoes of others, to understand and feel things in the same way that another person experiences them. This need is met by the illustrated books of this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the approach proposed for parents and teachers, they attempt to introduce children to seeing the world through the eyes of others, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions.
